This summer, the ASPbelong team has been gearing up to undertake three parallel randomised controlled trials of Lina in 120 classrooms in the UK, Portugal, and Czechia.

In preparation, this school term the trial team has been delivering a mock trial at Raynes Park High School (pictured). The team have learnt a huge amount from this experience and are excited to put everything into practice in the autumn. Huge thank you to our partners at Raynes Park and especially to the young people for all their expertise!

Since the beta versions of Lina were released in June (exciting!), we have been organising further testing so the programme can be further refined. We plan to playtest in a second school and youth centre during the coming months. In Czechia and the UK, we have had great fun facilitating demos of Lina to teaching staff of our trial schools.

In the UK, in partnership with various organisations including the PSHE association, recruitment is under way and there are limited spaces left for schools to be involved in the trial. If you have links to a school near Birmingham and would like to get involved, contact  kwrg [at] contacts.bham.ac.uk or sign up directly via this form.
